CITY OF PROSPECT
CITY COUNCIL MEETING
February 6, 2006

PRESENT:
Mayor Lonnie Falk; Council Members Nan Milliman, Alan Simon, Todd Eberle, Lee Zimmerman; City Attorney Grover Potts, City Administrator Ann Simms; Chief Marvin Wilson; Recording Secretary Ann Melton; Court Reporter Bruce Handy.

Mayor Falk called the meeting to order at 7:28 p.m.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Council Member Milliman moved approval of the minutes of the regular City council Meeting of January 9, 2006; Council Member Eberle seconded; passed unanimously.

COMMENTS FROM CITIZENS:
None

POLICE REPORT:
Chief Marvin Wilson presented the Police Report. There were no questions. Chief Wilson advised the Council that he, along with Ann Simms and Loretta Ertel, attended a Bridge Emergency Committee meeting last week.

NEW BUSINESS:
City Administrator Ann Simms read RESOLUTION NO. 1, SERIES 2006; A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE MILLIONS IN A MONTH CAMPAIGN TO FIGHT HUNGER IN KENTUCKY, which   passed on a 4-0 vote; For Simon, Milliman, Zimmerman, Eberle.

City Attorney Grover Potts advised the Council he had met with the Planning Commission and Land Development Board regarding the code changes the City of Prospect has made. They are republishing their codes, so it will work out well to include Prospects new codes.

Potts, also said the City has not received a request asking for a waiver to build a cell tower higher than the allowed 100 feet. Should we get such an application, the Council would decide if a public hearing regarding the cell tower height proposed is appropriate.

ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business, Council Member Zimmerman moved the Council adjourn; Council Member Simon seconded; passed unanimously.

Mayor Falk declared the meeting adjourned at 7:58 p.m.
