CITY OF PROSPECT
CITY COUNCIL MEETING
April 17,   2006

PRESENT:
Mayor Lonnie Falk; Council Members Nan Milliman, Alan Simon, Todd Eberle, Lee Zimmerman, Harold Smith;   Attorney Frank Schuppe, City Administrator Ann Simms; Chief Marvin Wilson; Recording Secretary Ann Melton; Court Reporter Bruce Handy.

Mayor Falk called the meeting to order at 7:28 p.m.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Council Member Simon moved approval of the minutes of the regular City Council Meeting of March 20, 2006; Council Member Smith seconded; passed unanimously.

COMMENTS FROM CITIZENS:
Mayor Falk introduced Denny Fortney from Boy Scout Troop 327 who was attending the Council Meeting to fulfill a requirement for the Merit Citizenship and Communication Badge.

Mr. Bud Ochsner who lives on Rockingham Road in Hunting Creek appeared before the Council Members to request an ordinance prohibiting placing deer food any closer than 100 feet to the roadway. He voiced concern for resident's safety, especially during rutting season. The Council had a brief discussion on this matter and a decision will be considered in the future.

POLICE REPORT:
Chief Marvin Wilson presented the Police Report. There were no questions.

NEW BUSINESS:
None.

ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business, Council Member Milliman moved the Council adjourn; Council Member Eberle seconded; passed unanimously.

Mayor Falk declared the meeting adjourned at 7:38 p.m.
