Fourth of July Community Celebration
Boomsday is the name given to the community celebration on the Fourth of July. It includes a parade for the youngsters and the young at heart, a community picnic with live entertainment, clowns and games for the children. The celebration is topped off with the City's Boomsday fireworks display, which is suburban Jefferson County's largest. The close proximity of the crowd to the fireworks makes the display even more spectacular!
